Database Access
By default SlickStack now bundles the open source Adminer script. This script is placed securely in the /var/www/meta/
directory which cannot be accessed by WordPress or any frontend users. The script can be updated or reinstalled anytime by reinstalling SlickStack.
Using Nginx magic, the script is loaded on the frontend at: https://example.com/adminer
You can also find any easy shortcut at: https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=slickstack&tab=database
We recommend using the 2nd method because it will auto-load Adminer with the current database host (and port number) database name, and database user. The database user password is also visible at this page for easy reference.
Note: you can also login Adminer using the special pseudo-root MySQL user [email protected] which in newer MySQL versions has replaced the root user, which is no longer supported anymore.
