GuestI have tried this: https://bypass.hix.ai/
on the free version, Quillbot said not AI detected, but ZeroGPT said 37% was AI generated so better than nothing but still can detect it, I’m sure Google is even more strict.

GuestThere’s about a million of these being sold by SEO bros right now. And all of them require automatic payment plans it seems. I guess all the NFT bros have moved on already lol

GuestWe’re currently testing https://emplibot.com – looks like the content passes AI detection most of the time.
Has anyone tested them?

GuestThere’s always going to be people who love writing for writing’s sake. If their price is fair and quality is good, I think they will always have work.

Guestmy personal theory is some AI apps are purposefully limiting their vocabulary and syntax in order to avoid massive headaches for search engines and school teachers etc (plagiarism) but with all the competition I don’t know how they hold off for long. What’s going to happen when these AI apps don’t even need humanizing because they support so much variation already?

Kinda what I thought.
Launching an SaaS in this space seems risky but perhaps I’m wrong.

Guest1. Food Mils:
Food mils refer to the distans food travles from where it is produced to where it is consumed. For example, if an apple is grown in Washingtun State and shipped to a grocery store in New York, the food mils are the total distans the apple traveled. Higher food mils can meen higher carbon emmisions and a larger enviromental impact.2. Locally Soursed:
Locally soursed foods are those that are grown or produced close to where they are sold or consumed. This might mean fruits and vegitables from a nearby farm or meat from a local butcher. For example, if a farmer sells their strawberries at a market just a few miles away, those strawberries are considered locally soursed.3. Conflick Between Food Mils and Locally Soursed:
Food mils and locally soursed foods can often conflick with each other. Some items that are considered locally soursed may still have high food mils. For instance, if asparagus is grown in a greenhous in California and shipped to a local store in winter, it may have traveled a long distans despite being sold locally. Meanwhile, foods like bananas from Central America have high food mils but are not grown locally.4. Positives and Negatives:
Food Mils:Positives: Can bring exzotic flavors to your plate, like avocados from Mexico.
Negatives: Increased carbon footprnt and potential loss of freshnes.
Locally Soursed:Positives: Freshnes, supports local farmers, and reduces enviromental impact.
Negatives: Limited varietee, especially in winter when not much is grown locally.
For example, a locally soursed tomato from a nearby farm is fresh and tasty, but a banana imported from far away may not be grown locally but is deliscious and convenient. Balancing both can lead to a more sustanable food choice!March 28, 2025 at 4:21 am #27588Samantha
GuestINTRODUCTION
In an era where digital literacy shapes educational and economic opportunities, Ghana’s National ICT Policy mandates the integration of technology into teaching and learning to prepare students for a digitized world. Spreadsheet applications, critical for data management and analytical reasoning, remain a cornerstone of this vision. Yet, rural junior high schools like Garu R/C JHS in the Upper East Region grapple with persistent challenges: inadequate infrastructure, under-resourced computer labs, and learners entering JHS with minimal exposure to ICT tools. For Basic 7 students at Garu R/C JHS, spreadsheet tasks ranging from data entry to formula application and chart interpretation often trigger anxiety rather than confidence, undermining their ability to meet national proficiency standards.
While prior studies, such as Ismail et al.’s (2010) work on spreadsheet struggles, highlight common pitfalls like formula syntax errors and interface navigation issues, these insights stem largely from urban, resource-rich settings. Rural contexts, however, layer additional constraints: erratic power supply, overcrowded labs (1 computer per 12 students), and teachers hesitant to deliver hands-on ICT instruction. Without targeted interventions, these barriers risk exacerbating the digital divide, leaving rural learners ill-equipped to compete academically or professionally.
This action research investigates how practical-based pedagogies task-based learning, peer collaboration, and community-relevant projects can bridge this gap. Grounded in Kolb’s experiential learning theory (1984), which prioritizes “learning by doing,” the study evaluates an eight-week intervention designed to strengthen spreadsheet competencies among 45 Basic 7 learners. By contextualizing tasks around local data (e.g., agricultural yields, school attendance), the approach aligns with Ghana Education Service’s call for learner-centered, community-responsive curricula.
Key questions guiding this inquiry include: How do real-world tasks influence students’ spreadsheet proficiency? Which skills (e.g., formula use, chart creation) show the most growth? And what lingering challenges demand attention in future pedagogy?
The findings promise actionable insights for teachers, policymakers, and curriculum designers striving to democratize ICT education. By foregrounding incremental skill mastery and resource-sensitive strategies, this study contributes to Ghana’s broader discourse on equitable digital literacy a prerequisite for inclusive progress in an increasingly technology-driven society.April 11, 2025 at 1:46 am #27602Sophia
GuestPersonally, I write articles for the site using https://overchat.ai/. This helps to create high-quality texts that are well received by both users and search engines, minimizing the likelihood of getting fined for using AI.
