Simple Cloudflare Turnstile plugin fails and gives error message

    could not get it working

    it worked very well last year, but not anymore.

    Please could you try generating some new API keys for the domain. Please also try using the Managed Challenge instead, and see if that works.

    Could you also try debugging by temporarily deactivating all other plugins, and change your theme, except Simple Cloudflare Turnstile, and see if you still experience this issue? May be best to do this on a staging site.

    This plugin is awesome but the UI is a bit confusing.

    You have to actually run the “test” first at the top before the plugin will activate. So look at the top of the settings page, click the “test API keys” and wait for success message, otherwise it will never activate on your site!!

    I’m pretty sure I tested it last year already. Why did it suddenly stop working?

    seems it can get disabled after a while, maybe from transients/cache.

    just do the setup again (click the test API button)

    in extreme case, delete the plugin and reinstall (also delete plugin data) and it should certainly be working again 😉
