    Saw this on HoverCraft theme today when I tried to edit some files.

    Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

    Cannot click Save.

    was this on the actual HoverCraft theme (parent theme) or some custom child theme you made?

    Actually it’s a child theme of HoverCraft. Does that matter?
