    @OP this is almost always a temporary issue with your web host or other internet hiccups, you can keep trying or come back later and try again

    I haven’t tried this, but an interesting hack from:

    add to your theme functions.php and reload the page, and try again?

    Most of the “update” type of problems in WP are just temporary.

    Try again after 20 minutes, or 1 hour.
