Yah if you search Google for “best SEO web hosting” or whatever you’re just going to see the same boring affiliate link articles for the typical providers:
Bluehost, WP Engine, GoDaddy, Kinsta, Flywheel, FastComet, WPX, Dreamhost, Hostinger, GreenGreeks, InMotion, iPage, IONOS…
same damn list of companies no matter what you search lol
cuz they are paying affiliate bloggers like $100 or $200 per referral, so the bloggers don’t even care if the information is accurate.

SlickStack is a free bash script available on GitHub, this means you can install it to any Ubuntu Linux web server that you want.
Usually the best choice is a KVM cloud server in a city nearby your audience.
Some good clouds:
You will need to know the basics of how to login to SSH on Linux and run a few basic shell commands to get SlickStack installed properly.
It’s not very difficult and we offer training in our Discord server 🙂
But why this approach?
Because, you save tons of money, get better performance, get better SEO signals, and get better security than the web hosts you mentioned.

GuestThe truth is that any web host can result in good SEO if they are pretty fast performance and SSL, and not having errors or crashing too often.

Guesta lot of web hosts still load websites on both www and non-www version causing duplicate content also no free SSL

Guestand 99% web hosts have no security HTTP headers like SlickStack
doesn’t Google like security headers??
February 16, 2023 at 10:10 am #4194Alice
GuestCloud server providers are increasingly the bigger question as scripts like SlickStack grow in popularity and the price of hardware continues to drop.
So more and more people are ditching shared hosting, cPanel, and stuff like that.
So it’s less about “web hosting” now and more about finding good quality cloud VMs and apps that integrate smoothly with them IMO

Guestwhat about A2 Hosting
June 28, 2023 at 11:38 am #6372Catherine
GuestA2 is just shared hosting using Litespeed now, it’s not bad… a lot better than years ago as I remember. Inmotion, A2, many non EIG guys are using Litespeed now.
It will never beat having your own cloud server IMO
