    There have been several threads on Twitter trying to analyze the hack/leak of Yandex source code and their search engine ranking factors… so far the only thing that surprises me is there are even less factors than I expected, it seems almost too basic.

    Too much focus on short URLs and keyword stuffing… kinda like Yahoo search from 10 years ago or something. Boring algo

    tbh this sounds refreshingly simple compared to the trash algorithm that Google has become after HCU updates.

    Yandex is pretty solid. They also offer email services.
