One of my new accounts which featured Midjourney art, only 1 pin posted, account was immediately banned and the domain blacklisted. Despite several support tickets, they will not reactivate it or tell me the reason why. I have to think it’s because the pin I posted was made with Midjourney, it was family safe and very beautiful art. WTF Pinterest.

early 2024 they completely banned searches for “AI” or “Midjourney” although later reversed course… maybe this is another reversal?

I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere else. Actually the opposite. People had a lot of traffic from AI art in the past.

so I emailed Pinterest recently to ask this exact question and they told me AI art is totally welcome on their platform. fyi to anyone else wondering this in 2024.
