PWA Builder defaults to your first version just being literally “1” without any decimal or anything, which feels awkward to me. What are you guys using for versions when you make changes to your PWA apps on Google Play or iOS App Store?
semantic versioning does not makes sense for PWA:

PWA Builder might call it “1” but Google Play references as 1.0.0.0 internally. Just, you know, to make it a bit more confusing 🙂

This is backwards actually.
“Version” 1.0.0.0 is what end users see.
“Version Code” 1 is just for internal reference, so Google knows which version is the latest… highest number is assumed the latest stable release for production.
