    @OP check out PWA apps instead, much more straightforward and it doesn’t require using Android Studio or messing with XML / java etc.

    I don’t know. My suspicion is that PWA will be overtaking Webview at least in the WordPress community. It takes less coding. And then eventually it will become more standardized and accepted hopefully.

    Webview is not dead, but PWA is much smoother so just go with PWA if using WP.
