GuestHi, updated from 8.7.0 to 8.8.2 which gives us the ‘Please Install the WooCommerce.com Update Manager to continue receiving the updates…’ alert. Clicking the link takes us to an error page that just shows ‘Connection for the site requesting plugin installation is not owned by you.’
Can you please advise, not clear what this means or how to remedy.
they are literally pushing everyone away. it’s insane.

GuestHEYYY….
here is a direct download link from WooCommerce.com:
however no telling when they will disable this and make it unavailable. probably soon. it’s not even a direct link, just a hidden redirect.

“We have been prompted to install ‘WooCommerce.com Update Manager‘
Now that we’ve installed it we can’t update the plugin without connecting to woocommerce.com. We don’t want to connect all our clients sites to woocommerce.com especially in instances where they don’t own or use any woocommerce.com plugins.
Do we really need the plugin if we don’t have any plugins purchased through Woocommerce.com.”
