    The exact match domain name certainly helps, but it’s no guarantee these days now that Google has shifted toward entity scanning for local searches.

    Your page titles are STILL the most important thing for ranking, bar none…

    – exact match domain
    – exact match homepage title
    – alternative word order for site tagline / secondary title
    – very fast cloud server in Dallas area
    – very lightweight theme (HoverCraft) that is SEO optimized with H1 H2, simple DOM elements, some unique textual content, entity validation items, self-referencing menu link, etc

    besides that,

    solid Google Maps profile, although it could probably be even better.

    Just a few months. Deleted All In One SEO, which was f*****g up some of their titles etc. Installed HoverCraft theme, cleaned up the page content. Mild optimization of page titles and menus and such, a few important updates to the GMB profile.

    A few months later, big ranking improvement, especially on Maps!
