why does Squarespace SSL take so long to activate

    I had a client I moved their main site to WordPress and their Squarespace to subdomain for only a shop and SSL is taking hours to activate

    SSL certificate status: Processing

    can’t even load the shop, it says “Your connection is not private”

    did you ensure www prefix is turned off? this should be off for subdomain sites according to Squarespace docs

    Use www prefix
Add “www” to the beginning of your domain

    Square Space is horrible, their web designs absolutely suck and super clunky, I don’t know why you’d use them for a shop. Are they cheaper than Shopify?
