    Hi,

Saw you talking about Git Updater. If we add those headers, will it conflict with the normal updates from WordPress.org?

    No it will not conflict.

WordPress Core will default to using the updates from WP.org

The headers are more of a backup in that case. You can disable WP.org updates using a code snippet for any given theme or plugin if you want to use Git instead

    FYI:

LittleBizzy’s new plugin RepoMan will resolve any namespace conflicts between GitHub (Git Updater based plugins) and WordPress.org based plugins:

how does “RepoMan” GitHub plugin search work?
