Hi,
Saw you talking about Git Updater. If we add those headers, will it conflict with the normal updates from WordPress.org?
GitHub Theme URI: afragen/test-child
GitHub Plugin URI: afragen/git-updater
No it will not conflict.
WordPress Core will default to using the updates from WP.org
The headers are more of a backup in that case. You can disable WP.org updates using a code snippet for any given theme or plugin if you want to use Git instead
Git Updater is freaking amazing 🤩
