Self-Healing Failsafes
In case something happens to SlickStack Core Bash Scripts, either deleted, nulled or otherwise, there are a few failsafes we have built in.
First, the Core Cron Jobs will re-download the Bash Scripts if not found or contents nulled.
Second, the root Crontab will re-download the Core Cron Jobs if not found or contents nulled.
Third to come full circle, if the root Crontab needs to be updated then ss-worker will re-install it using the 0-crontab file boilerplate. Obviously this presents a potential paradox as the ss-worker might not be running if the Crontab is missing or nulled or broken, but it is a solution that we retain for certain cases in the future (it would be added to ss-worker only as needed… the best way to update/re-install Crontab and SlickStack will always be to manually run the ss-install script again).
