I noticed that the Github readme says that SS is mainly intended for single rather than multisite installations. I also see some discussions on here about multisites though, so I was wondering exactly how compatible/appropriate SS would be for a large multisite.

Some of us are running SS with Multisite with some dozens of niche sites, it works great, esp if you are using the same theme and plugins on various sites. Easiest maintenance in the world and best technical SEO signals

As I recall ss has not be fully pentested for multi-user situation, maybe some way for Editor or Admin user to make problems if you don’t trust them–

The size of the Multisite network doesn’t change much about your stack I suppose, besides resources usage and tweaking a few settings in ss-config or whatever.

Although for large networks, I would highly recommend a remote managed database.
