saw it mentioned on Twitter, but comments on Reddit seem to be so-so.
March 11, 2024 at 12:19 pm #13195KaylaGuestLooks like another YC project

March 11, 2024 at 12:20 pm #13196MadisonGuestwell, if its funded by YC I would assume it has some potential š
March 11, 2024 at 12:21 pm #13197CatherineGuestLet me guess, you work for them??
March 11, 2024 at 12:45 pm #13198CatherineGuestwhy not use Stable Diffusion, it’s free and you can have full control. however, I guess the benefit to something like RenderNet is the user friendly UI.

March 11, 2024 at 1:57 pm #13202CynthiaGuestI tried the Rendernet free trial, imo the UI is pretty confusing. No explanation of which settings are going to be applied each generation, and stuff all over the place. The output of some of my test prompts resulted in retarded deformed faces, and unrealistic rendering of some of the other details in my prompt despite choosing the “realistic” filter.

but no UI… Discord is a big drawback for MJ
June 12, 2024 at 1:35 am #25229DeborahGuestTried it for just 10 minutes. The time I needed to realize that I have to email contact them to delete my account.

July 5, 2024 at 7:31 pm #25465BillyGuestwhy not use Stable Diffusion

November 28, 2024 at 7:56 pm #26999MichaelGuestI went to rendernet for the free trial to see what’s all about. I signed up uploaded a photo and as soon as I pressed render it goes straight to payment page saying I had no credits. How is that a free trial? These companies act like their services are gold. Yet fail to provide a simple sample of their capabilities. It’s ridiculous.
November 29, 2024 at 8:00 am #27000MelissaGuestyikes sounds like fraud if true
December 10, 2024 at 3:48 am #27013FrancesGuestSame experience as Michael. No free trial, and had to pay 1 month subscription to even try the platform. No tutorials or any instructions on platform whatsoever.
December 10, 2024 at 7:03 am #27014EricGuestThere’s no way Rendernet survives imo
MJ already has this feature and it will continue to improve and I’m sure other bigger AI services will soon. I think Rendernet is trying to cash out as much as possible before they shut it down, I’m surprised this is a YC project.
