    And they don’t require exhausting your server’s CPU and RAM memory. Checking for broken links should never be done from inside WordPress

    very inefficient

    Google GSC is one of the most powerful free tools for alerting you of 404 errors on your site and is much more effective than WP plugins!

    404 monitoring should also not be done inside WordPress.

    it could be used to DDOS your site and crash your Mysql database or using too much CPU
