can I setup standalone SlickStack on “staging” or “dev” subdomain?

Hello, if we don’t want to use the built-in staging or dev sites and instead launch a 2nd or 3rd cloud server on dev.example.com or staging.example.com is that supported?
Any best practices to know thank you
You can do this yes, but I recommend not using the subdomains “staging” or “dev” as the hostname of your standalone servers. Because those are considered reserved names in SlickStack and it would probably lead to conflicts in some ways I can’t even think of right now.
Eventually we hope to have clear support for remote staging/dev servers.
But right now it’s really supported.
