Yes, SlickStack supports TMPFS for Nginx FastCGI cache out-of-the-box.
What is the point of doing this exactly?
It helps avoid disk write I/O so faster.
But, if you are using CDN and remote database, maybe not so effective.
TMPFS is cool but make sure you have plenty of RAM memory on your box!
Don’t be enabling on some lowend 512MB RAM server… well, some people do it anyways cuz their other server specs suck balls.
Just realize it might eat up your RAM quickly on some sites.
