put WordPress /uploads/ on block storage with SlickStack
- This topic is empty.
I don’t want to upgrade my server to something expensive when I Don’t need more CPU and RAM because i need only more storage space for Media uploads folder, can I do like they were talking about in DigitalOcean
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/moving-wp-content-to-block-storage-volume
Block storage for /wp-content/
or just /uploads/
…?
Using object storage for only the Media uploads is much smarter because if you put all of the /wp-content/ it will slow down your website.
Only for static image uploads etc is better and CDN will cache it anyways
I tried this on Vultr but difficult to understand, no tuts also, the only article I found is from this guy
