I have used FiboSearch for some clients and it’s terrific but it’s only for WooCommerce and will display only products in AJAX dropdown–

To answer the original question, yes, Super Speedy Search will work with Slick Stack.

It creates a few of its own tables that are better suited to search queries and then keeps it updated based on wp_posts, wp_postmeta, wp_taxonomies etc.
