“Update failed: -1” error when trying to update Multisite themes

    not sure why this suddenly started happening on WP Multisite?

    I don’t see any info how to fix on Google results

    Update: I did same as the guy in that thread, update from Dashboard > Updates instead of the Themes page and it works??

    but still cant work from the Themes page

    hey, I think this is caused by database/transients/caching conflicts usually. you can try to clear all caches including object cache, delete transients, reboot the server… these might help you.

    also if for Multisite, you can temporarily load the /wp-admin/network/themes.php or plugins URL from a child site (using super-admin login) and it might let you run updates even if they are not working properly in the main site.
