instead of renewing properly on the date, I have never seen this before, why?? all of my customers did not pay anything on the due date.

    okay wow.

well turns out, my Stripe plugin was entirely deleted and missing. I have no idea why.

just reinstalled the Stripe plugin again. all my customers subscriptions are “on hold” still, and I am reactivated a few of them to see what happens.

not sure but I really hope that I don’t need to manually rebill their credit cards.

    Failed Recurring Payment Retry System

You might review this page, to see the retry automatic payment schedules.

I had to manually click “reactivate” all the “on hold” subscriptions, however the retry payment cron seems like it died or something, the retries never happened now.

when my customers login to try to manually pay for the missing payment it says “This order can no longer be paid because the corresponding subscription does not require payment at this time.”

    wtffffffff guys

You don’t need to switch into their accounts or even have them login. Just click on the subscription in WooCommerce > Subscriptions that never paid the renewal yet and on the right side under the “Subscription actions” widget choose the “Process Renewal” option and click the small gray arrow ➡️ on the right side, it should generate a new order and bill their payment method (credit card) for the that associated subscription… the old “Pending Payment” order will be ignored and you can safely change status of that one to “Failed”
