I thought maybe Elementor Pro license did not activate for subdomain, however the fatal error is from the free version?

Please try to disable Elementor via SSH.

You can rename the folder to force-disable the plugin in WordPress:

    sudo mv /var/www/html/dev/wp-content/plugins/elementor /var/www/html/dev/wp-content/plugins/elementor-disabled

“Fatal error” is Elementor’s middle name, just delete it and move on 😉

Another person asked about this recently, is there any clear cause for this happening?

I had some similar errors. The problem was Elementor was severely outdated. And the PHP version was already 8.1 so it caused fatal errors like above. Just update Elementor to latest version. Or delete it, then install again.
