From Motion Invest newsletter summary:
Mediavine is one of the best ad networks for content websites, but qualifying has always been a challenge for new sites. This is changing, as Mediavine unveiled big news on Thursday, announcing the release of their Journey program.
Journey by Mediavine is an ad management solution for websites with traffic above 10,000 sessions per month. The new program is aimed at growing websites that do not meet traditional Mediavine’s minimum criteria (50,000 sessions per month).
The program will leverage proven ad technology and relationships with Mediavine, getting your website on the fast track to monetization without compromising user experience.
Journey is open to any website that meets the required 10,000 sessions per month. If you want to get started, visit the link below, create an account, and appy for ad management services through Journey by Mediavine. Once the account is set up, you must install Grow by Mediavine and run it for a minimum of 30 days. (The sooner you get started, the better.)

I Checked 100 Mediavine Sites – 95% of Them Were Hit By HCU
by inSEOMarch 16, 2024 at 7:11 am #13391JaniceGuestI wish I could ditch Adsense for Mediavine,
but I don’t think my site has quite enough sessions right now.
March 16, 2024 at 7:16 am #13393StevenGuestis that Reddit thread accurate tho? 95%? 🤔🤔
March 16, 2024 at 7:35 am #13396NathanGuestthe Reddit report was from Jan 2024:
“Mediavine’s list of sites is public.
I checked 100 of them in ubersuggest.
95 were hit either brutally by ALL updates since September.
Some were hit slightly -20-30% (usually DR 40+).
In my niche, all sites were decimated.”but I think some sites have slightly recovered since then, others have been even more hurt than previously so it’s probably still pretty accurate
March 18, 2024 at 8:00 am #13444MarieGuestI don’t really get it.
Is the Journey program actually paying you?
March 29, 2024 at 10:54 am #14383NatalieGuestThis could be seen as “good news” or “bad news” for the internet lol
May 13, 2024 at 6:42 pm #24846June 13, 2024 at 8:57 am #25264GloriaGuesthey,
my client said they required her to install this plugin:
what’s the difference between the Journey program and Grow program?
June 28, 2024 at 7:13 pm #25431RachelGuestThe Grow plugin is absolute s**t. A bunch of stupid Javascript modals like “search this site!” and “bookmark this page!” that reminds me of Web 2.0 junk from 10 years ago… zero explanation of how it works to website owners or end users. Just seems like some cheap and dishonest move by Mediavine because apparently the sponsors of the Grow plugin are like Mailchimp and others.
So really it’s just a way for Mediavine to sell the data/tracking of lower traffic websites to other companies and then possibly reject you from their Mediavine program anyways.
Bait and switch do not install that s**t
