WooCommerce pagination URLs not pretty? (why dynamic)

is this from Woo or SEO plugins or the theme? I can’t figure it out, why is the pagination looking like
https://example.com/shop/?product-page=3
But for normal WordPress on blog archives it should be like /page/3/
Is /shop/ the real WooCommerce shop page? Or is it just a regular page with a shortcode on it?
Normally, WooCommerce uses pagination like /page/3/ on the shop page, category pages, etc. But it uses pagination like ?product-page=3 on pages with shortcodes.
