both the Fusion plugins were from the Avada theme. after years and years they are both still extremely bloated and cause spinning and thrashing, esp. their “lazy load” and other massive amount of JS libraries, it just never improves!
yup tons of sites still use Avada, mostly from ThemeForest sales, I think a lot of designers learned Avada 10 years ago and just never tried something else. so they keep telling their clients to buy their license?
